USAK COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY CHAMBER(UTSO), likewise all of the chambers general aim, began service in 1891 with the efforts of businessmen in Usak with the aim of meeting common needs of members – facilitating the general professional interests in accordance with developments such as ensuring that the same objectives and tasks in the framework.
With 125-year history, UTSO is located among the well-established professional organizations today; with 3,500 registered members, 18 occupational groups, 44 members of parliament, with 105 professional committee members our chamber contributes to the regional and national economy. In addition to the duties set out in the law UTSO is increasing its range of services for the members as to increase their business potential trade through fair organization, training, projects as well as many different subjects day by day.
UTSO aims at ensuring compliance with European Chamber System as part of the accreditation system including Turkish Chambers. Uşak Chamber of Commerce has been certified with a certificate of quality in the service since 2002 with ISO 9001 quality management system.
UTSO has been preparing and managing many projects funded by EU and national funds. Therefore, UTSO has a great experience on projects. Besides, UTSO trains youths for being successful entrepreneurs in cooperation with KOSGEB (SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT ADMINISTRATION). Almost each month UTSO organizes an entrepreneurship training for youths.
