Module 2. Business idea and innovation
The main contents of the module are:

- Have a look to what experts say about innovation.
- What is the difference between an idea and when an idea becomes innovative?
- To develop a business idea means following some steps.
Overview: Starting an own business starts firstly with an idea. It is important to guide the young entrepreneurs through this process. Making the difference between an idea and an innovative idea can determine the success of the business.

This module looks very theoretically and it is indeed but it is necessary to know about these concepts so we advice to pay the necessary attention to the practical aspects for the young entrepreneurs.
Start with launching a lot of ideas and then take the criteria to see if it is innovative, what is the target audience and so on. Teachers can use the power points slides as guidelines for developing own business idea’s by the young entrepreneurs.
It is possible to start from successful corporations and try to analyze what kind of (innovative) idea’s are the baselines behind the success. E.g. what makes Apple so successful? What makes Coca-Cola successful?
